Journaling My Gratitude, Day 57

I am forever grateful for my life experiences, the totality of them. I have absolutely no regrets in life because everything I’ve done, every choice I’ve made from birth to present, have come together to mold me into the person I am today.

I wouldn’t change my wild high school years, although they may have taken years off my parents’ lives. I wouldn’t change the blow to the back of the head circa 2010-12. That incident later lead to me hearing voices and having to be put on medication. The medication made me lethargic to the point I started self-medicating which gradually came steadier and steadier. In turn, this caused several health conditions because, apparetly, alcohol, in large doses, doesn’t play well with my medication. I had to find that out the hard way.

All those things contributed to the life I am currently living, which I wouldn’t change for the world.
